This is a serious Rosé

There’s no point in calling ourselves the heretics if we do the same as everyone else, is there? So, we took a punt and decided to barrel ferment all of this (we’re big fans of Les Clans) Pinot Noir, also from Missing Gate vineyard.
There’s no clear glass bottles here getting rapidly damaged by light (sorry, it’s a thing); we are protecting this beauty in our signature black bottles; some people will hate that, but there are always ‘some people’. All old Burgundy barrels with a bit of lees stirring, this is a serious Rosé.
So, how does it taste? It has more depth to it than most Rosé wines and a better complexity. So can you drink it on its own? Hell yeah, but it’s also a winner for Sunday lunch or accompanying some Waygu beef on the BBQ. It turns out real men can drink Rosé after all.
And there’s even a few more reviews…
‘Delicately floral and dangerously raw, infinitesimally layered and fragilely crystalline, unnervingly stern and fleetingly exotic, this is a kaleidoscopically fascinating wine, and the finish alone takes you into next week. I commend this wine to you. It is the most shocking and convincing debut launch of any English wine in my entire wine career’

‘This is so, so good, I’d drink this over expensive Provence Rosé any day’

Unfortunately I can’t remember what it tasted like, but I do remember it was bloody good. Would drink again with pleasure.

Hello English Rosé! As a South African wine admirer, I struggle to fall in love with English wine (which I find too acidic and often lacking depth in flavour). But… I’m also a marketer and perpetually willing to indulge in packaging and personality. Alongside quick delivery and a personal service, this wine is exquisite. It’s well balanced and packed with unexpected flavour that will carry me well into Summer. The packaging and service are really just supporting the star of the show – the wine. Keep it coming team!

I’m someone who drinks rose wine all year round – but not that pale, floral stuff from SE France.
This is an absolute banger with real depth and I think equal to any pinot noir rose that I’ve had .
And as someone born in Kent that really is a compliment!

So you’re the guy who drinks rosé all year round, please move to the front of the queue

If rose wine from Provence is your thing, try this instead. It’s on another level for fruit, complexity and richness. The best rose wine I’ve ever had? Quite possibly.

Can’t add much to that review really Paul, winner winner chicken dinner

A truly delicious rosé. A wonderfully round, fruity flavour, but not overly sweet, and with just enough aciditiy to leave a smooth, cleansing finish. Had it with a family meal, and, even with so many different tastes in wine gathered together, not a single dissenter was to be found at the table! Will definitely be ordering another when topping up the cellar.
Whether you’re interested in seeing how far English wine has come, or are just looking for a genuinely tasty bottle, I would heartily recommend giving this a try!

Andrew! What a review and great to see that it worked for everyone, get some more before it’s gone, all in the name of family harmony of course.
